Carpe Diem!

West Indies 36 Hull #17 rafted next to a Kettenburg PCC (46’) built in 1946.  Sailing to this cove both boats had almost equal speed and point going to weather.

Heritage West Indies 36

A Charley Morgan Design

This site is dedicated to the Heritage West Indies 36 and their owners.  These boats were made between 1976 and 1979 and to the best of our knowledge approximately 40 of these hulls were made.  In these pages we hope to provide a meeting place and reference for all the owners of these boats.  We will post projects with pictures and descriptions as well as problems which owners have or have solved.

Enjoy!

Updates:

Links have been fixed….hopefully.  Let me know if there are other problems.

I have added a few updates to the project page including a new hatch for the head and a traveler install from Mike Stambersky.  Also a new page dedicated to Alex Brooks’ ‘Bob’.

Alex Brooks from Bermuda contacted me to update the site.  He purchased Easy Wind and resides in Bermuda.  He also informed me that there are three other WI36’s located there as well, hopefully we will hear from them in the coming weeks.  A few pictures of Easy Wind have been added.

Well I had a hard drive crash and have been rebuilding the site, so if you find and broken links let me know.

Mike Stambersky from Daytona Beach, FL recently purchased hull #10 and is refitting  her.  I have created and page for all of his work for everyone to see.

A new page has been added to include more pics of Marica V hull #11.
